Sport
Our flagship sports division was launched in 1990 and is the force behind
significant sports shows such as:

Formula One – live presentation coverage and host broadcaster
of British Grand Prix (1997 to date)
World Rally Championships – host broadcaster coverage (August 2000 to
date) and producer of ITV programming since 2004
NBA – live and “as live” game coverage and magazine
programming for both Channel 4 and ITV (1996-2001)
Rugby – Rugby Special (BBC), Rugby Express (C5) and Inside Rugby (C4)
(1994-1999)
Football Italia C4 – live presentation coverage and magazine programming
(1992-2002)
Bowls – live coverage for BBC Network, BBC Scotland and BBC Wales (1994
to date)
Football Italia - Bravo - live presentation, coverage and magazine programming
(2005 to date)
We also recently produced a highlights show for the 2006
Football World Cup for multichannel broadcaster UKTV plus many other new
innovative sporting projects such as coverage of the phenomenally popular Red
Bull Air Race. One-off sport related projects have included The Beckham's
World Cup Party (ITV) and the RTS Award-winning Graham Taylor: An Impossible
Job (C4).
We have also championed the less mainstream sports such as Snooker, Angling
(Tight Lines - live weekly 1 hour programme for Sky Sports, now in its eleventh
series), Speedway, Polo, Snowboarding and Darts with great success.
Entertainment
Our entertainment and factual division was launched in 1998 with
the acclaimed and influential ‘Top Ten’ series, for which we
ultimately produced over 45 programmes (across every conceivable music and TV
genre) for Channel 4. Over the past 18 months we have made a real impact
in the formatted series area and have already aired a number of successful
prime-time productions;
Football Icon (10 x 60, Sky
One)
A nationwide talent search for the next young star of the
world’s biggest football club Chelsea FC – uniquely, this series
offers a pro-contract with the Premiership champions as its ultimate
prize. We are currently in production on a second series, the first show
airs on Friday 6th October at 8pm.
The Singing Estate (4 x 60,
Five)
Residents of a troubled inner-city
housing estate audition and unite under conductor Ivor Setterfield to form a
choir whose goal is a heart-stopping performance at London’s Royal Albert
Hall.
Totally Boyband (8 x 30, MTV)
Five ‘veterans’ from
different, defunct boybands are brought together by a recording contract for
one last crack at the big time. Egos are ruffled, sparks fly.
Big Ron Manager (6 x 60, Sky
One)
Famed, flamboyant, outspoken
ex-Manchester United boss Ron Atkinson becomes a football troubleshooter to try
to reverse the fortunes of a struggling lower-league club.
Asbo Teen To Beauty Queen (6 x
60, Five – TX from November)
An unlikely set of gum-chewing bad
girls from the mean streets of Manchester, England, are groomed to compete in a
big-haired & ball-gowned US teen-beauty pageant.
My God! I’m My Dad! (10
x 30, Bravo)
30/40-something male celebs
bemoan/embrace their descent from rash rebellious youth into
‘Dadness’. A comical mix of interview, home movie and
tongue-in-cheek recon.
In the documentaries area, we are currently in
production on two prime-time projects for Channel 4, one which follows a
college for the blind in Hereford and the other a two-part mini-series about
couples looking for and living with au-pairs. Two of our recently screened
productions, Dead Body Squad (C4, Cutting Edge strand,
following extreme cleaning companies) and Guys & Dolls (Five,
a study of men who live with state-of-the-art female dolls) are both winners in
this year’s selection for Realscreen, the factual specialist trade
magazine.

and one-off specials for global brands to long-form series, government
sponsored campaigns and the launch of the world's first ever branded content
channel.
We also lead the way in terms of digital distribution, creating multi-media
solutions for commercial content using IPTV, Web and Mobile applications -
starting with the world's first legal TV download service we now offer
